The developers are in Baia Mare, right next to the border of Ukraine. If it's any consideration or concern, that may be why their website is down and the moderators are AWOL.

I'm having an incredible time so far. I Spent 2 hours setting up Hamachi for local play, and another 40 hours clearing an area the size of a basketball court for a house. Luckily the Government welded my door shut and I've been able to do this for 10 hours, now I just need to do that for 20 hours, so I can do this for a while. Then I can get that done for this and that, after that I'll be done doing this for another 100 hours and I'll finally do it.

After that's done I click Alt-F4 and it's 6AM.

If you're an RTS nut, this game is worth 20$ for the campaign alone. Which is A LOT more than we entomologist got from Maxis 30 years ago for that same price.

They're not even done yet, Slug Disco is really putting the work in!

This game is straight-blissin my dudes.

It's fun just to chill sometimes with someone and do a little island exploration and battle.

The plot, battle mechanics, and over vibe of the game are relaxed and enjoyable.

Get yourself a chill YT playlist and start your playlist with Myd - The Sun, no disappointments here fam.

It's a vacation videogame.

This game is the epitome of a perfectly imagined space survival game, I must've played at least 4 or 5 including planetbase but none of those compared in quality, balance, nor entertainment. After 110 hours I never had a single bug nor unexpected shutdown.
I also love the fact this game welcomes modders with open arms and has some incredible people doing insanely detailed work for it.

Cheers to the developers, and cheers to the modders!

This game has a intuitive learning curve, incredibly balanced crafting system, and a nostalgic style about it.
I can comfortably say after 200 hours, that it was 200 hours well spent. I may have moved on to other games, but I wish I could find games like this more often, furthermore
A solo passion project with dozens of unique mechanics.

One of the pro/cons of the game is that after you've played a world for over 20 hours, the difficulty gets easier and easier. Starting off in a world can be hit or miss for survivability based on plant spawns and the ever-present spiders and aberrant goats.

But unlike a lot of other survival crafting games out there, Wayward will reward you the more time you've spent in one world. It's a feeling of control and power in a complete sandbox-survival type world that you just don't get in other games.

The way you toil away and sculpt the world around you is unmatched.
Taking the time to make legendary orchards and vegetable gardens.
Learning to eradicate all life around you with legendary wooden spears.
Finding treasure and crafting armor one piece at a time, for purely cosmetic reasons.
It all makes the game worthwhile and unique.
