I don't feel like being the devs' free play testers.

This is such a unique game, only amplified with VR enabled. Played on the Vive Pro headset with Valve Index controllers, I had a blast going through this game virtually. Mechanics are a bit different from the norm, but the pacing of the game is smooth and comfortable, complacent with the overall objective, which is to take your rage out on the accursed arachnids. I can only not recommend to arachnophobes or those without VR capability, everyone else should pick this up.

For those who have touched a terminal or command prompt, or even for those that never have but want to, give this game a go. It starts off quick and simple with lots of tools, tips and plenty of time that you need to get comfortable working in a terminal. As long as you learn how to navigate file directories and read any .txt you find, it's worthwhile to vibe out and do whatever you want, then do the tasks you need when you're ready.

Re: Steam Deck, this is one of those games that heavily rely on the keyboard. While the native runtime of this game works well (no Proton required), you need a keyboard connected to your Deck to have a good experience. It's nice playing a story-driven puzzle title like this on the Deck's small screen, but docked at a desk is most optimal. Just in case, map the Deck's touchpad to a mouse cursor with Left Click and a scroll wheel to access the on-screen shortcuts without repeatedly typing them; while the Deck' touchscreen can work, it's nice to have a backup way to click around.

A great programming puzzle game! Works great on Deck!! Can be played entirely with the touchscreen, or pair a controller with gyro capability: map gyro to mouse and two or three buttons to Left Click.

This isn't a cool update for a game, it's a graphics project.

Either RTX is overrated, or the devs have released this patch in a completely unusable and unpleasant state, hoping that you can make something look pretty and hyper-realistic by tinkering with the settings, before your game crashes or your graphics card can't keep up with the constant changes to the settings of an obsolete version of the game.

Steam Input is completely broken, must use a native Mouse and Keyboard to interact. Don't alt-tab, use multiple screens or preset settings beyond what's capable with your graphics card, or swallow your pride and lower your expectations to get it to function nice enough for a screenshot but no video capture footage. Up to you if it's worth the hassle.

Only pro is that it's free.

I am NOT tallking about nerfed AOE weapons. I haven't touched this game in years, I don't know what hive-mind trend is going on now.

The game is brilliant, especially on Switch. But it's too much of a time sync, and only worthwhile with friends who are also willing to waste their time, and if you have an Amazon Prime subscription to get all the cosmetic loot.

I cannot support this game anymore, though. Broken controller support commitments, stagnating design changes between Frames and weapons, long repetitive and boring mission structures. Once the first campaign is completed, you finished Warframe. And there's nothing else to look forward to, ever.

I do not enjoy playing this game. It's a free Killing Floor in the HL engine, but I already have Killing Floor. Probably for the nostalgia with a group of friends, but not fun to play alone or with randos on public servers.

Workshop support's nice, I guess.

If you can't afford Minecraft, give this game a try.

Muck is a rogue FPS-style survival game. Similar to that one game, there's combat, crafting, day-night cycles and online multiplayer. Unlike that one game however, players have one life, physics are pretty wonky, and the AI is merciless. You'll likely die playing Muck, but it's all in the vibe. Nothing to fret, best played with friends.

Oh, and no gamepad support, sad. :(

Early Access Review
One guy made this game, and it's remarkable. Buy it; he needs food to eat.

Don't have money? Get the demo NOW!! it's free!!!

This is a wonderful gem of a rougelike VR shooter. Graphics remind me of 90's shooters like Quake, and each play session is about half an hour, but it's so addicting getting immersed in... everything. Movement, aiming, shooting, reloading. So much care attention has been given to the controls and physics, and there's always extra little touches added in steadily published updates. This isn't just a short demo of a VR shooter; this is THE VR shooter everyone needs.
