Sony backed down, situation resolved (for the time being at least).

I will not be trusting Sony (a company with an incredible track record of data breaches) with any of my personal data and if the decision is not reverted I will be demanding a refund.

I have trashed the game with mods and can't even load into it.

Not worth the full price in it's current state.
Incredibly rough around the edges and needs ***A LOT*** of work.
Don't get me wrong, its not bad, but its just not at a point where i can recommend purchasing it for anything over 5 buckaroos.
Will probably update the review later on in the games lifespan provided they add content and fix all the lazy design (typos everywhere, missing unit cards, >>>>bridges<<<<).

Another update
recent updates have substantially improved the game and fixed some UI functions (like deck builder being abysmal). Quite a few QoL features and changes. If they continue at this new rate the game might almost be worth 20 euros.... : )

Most recent update has completely totalled game balance. There is no reason to play NATO.
More content is always appreciated but when the game struggles to maintain 20 players on a weekend its a bit hard to experience any of the new changes.

The game has been mechanically overhauled since I last played it and almost all gameplay gripes are gone (except balance shifting in the opposite direction, making NATO objectively better, albeit not completely unbeatable).
As for fun, I have had a lot more of it lately.
All that said; the planned DLC and pricing is abhorrent.
The fact that they have already planned "expansions" and DLC for the game immediately upon release makes it feel a lot less like they are expanding the game, and a whole lot more like they are locking part of the content behind further pay walls. 25 euro for 1 "expansion" (which will probably amount to about 5% of the games content) is inexcusable. Especially when the game itself costs 40 euros and they plan on releasing 2 "expansions" and selling off divisions in pairs/individually (something they started in red dragon, albeit there each "division" had as much content as all of this game's divisions combined.)
To summarise: Fun game, ok-ish balancing, predatory monetization practices.

Would be a 9/11 were it not for the god awful grind.
Please stop adding new vehicles I can't use and UP THE XP RATES FFS.

that and wish they kept the original credit system in reach
