Space age review:
I liked the Space Exploration mod a lot, so I bought this DLC when it was released. But it is just boring for me.

Go to one planet, build from zero, go to the next planet, build from zero, etc. One has infinite ores, the next has infinite components, the next one has infinite ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, etc.

I've got bored reaching Fulgora, got to Gleba. It's just the same loop of constantly restarting over and over again. Sure, you could bring all the stuff for the factory with you so it doesn't restart on KD, but it's just boring. Reaching Gleba and having to deal with its own BS was enough.

It feels like a cutdown version of the Space Exploration mod, with all the interesting parts removed and only the barebones left. I look forward to the SE update so that it can use new engine capabilities.

Quality update
I like it; it gives reasons to build more items than you normally do and has reasons to expand your production. Running with rare stuff is great. However, in SA, any other qualities are locked behind an artificial barrier for some reason. How in the hell did the supposed tech lock even work? Why can't I get legendary stuff at the start and only near the end when I don't care about them? Sure, they are better, but I'm on the finishing stretch... What is the point?

Elevated Rails
They are great. I love them. I would love it even more if the developers made it so you can build support above the rails below them and have double rails.

Everything else
The game, as in without SA, got even better. The textures, sounds, music, QoL, etc., are much better now. Even though I did not like SA, I did like all the other updates that will allow modders to do even more crazy things. Just gleba biters show that finally, we can have more than different-colored biters.

This game is fun, even considering the issues it has.

As a Madam, you can make NPCs crouch, which looks funny. However, it also gets old fast because people always somehow guess who the player is and who the NPC is. Cloning VIPs feels like a waste of time because you don’t see your work in action.

As Larcin, you can try to steal everything from someone or try to steal the package. However, in most cases, you just don’t get to use your ability. Be it because you haven’t found anyone or because you just got all the chips and keycard in the first few minutes of the game. (This happens a lot)

As an Ace, you can roof camp. Hilarious stuff.

Octo, you can steal people's intel and fire it back at them.

However, it needs some improvements, such as:

Better bots: As they are right now, they are really bad. They do not get chips, hack terminals, or even go into the vault. They are a thing only in solos and until you reach level 30.

Better stealth: Right now, you can run the entire match without caring about your disguise or whether you look suspicious. Developers want to add a meter that would not really change this, except it would become a stamina bar.

General NPC should be more random and suspicious and walk more like a person. Is this a spy mission, or is the West World on budget?

At least basic matchmaking: Playing against levels 600 after you have just reached level 30 and have no idea what you are doing is mostly not the experience I would recommend. Some characters are busted as hell, and you just die from 2 shots.

You will also get ambushed constantly because you moved a bit, not like an NPC. Considering the giant skill gap and the fact that they love to play in premade lobbies, the ending is expected.

Better online: As it is right now, you keep playing with the same people again and again and again. I know a lot of lvls 600 names because they are active and don’t really change.
New players just get hunted into oblivion by the same level 600, and the only thing they do is hunt.

Slower faze 1: Right now, it can end in just a few minutes, even faster, if three people get lucky and get full free entry because a guard let them in. This leads to stage 2, which is just a massive fight in the vault where usually the winner is the third party that did not participate in it.

Even with all of this, I consider spending my money's worth on it. It was not really expensive, and it cost me 10 euros for 200+ hours.

This game on one side it's good. And addicting as hell. But also late game it suffers from a lack of what you can do.

Thermium in reality is quite an unnecessary material if you don't want to build some big builds. So you can just skip it. Its not a requirement for anything in the game except having high overheating temp.

Power in this game is made in such a manner it's quite a joke. If you can build 1 petrol boiler, you pretty much have no more power issues. Or even simpler if you use heat duplication glitch to run an almost infinite amount of turbines.

I belive this game deserves more work done on its mechanics and improvements that can make it better.

Alfa 21 as it is RN will suck ass really bad.

Progression changed: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horrible. Read 100 books to craft ♥♥♥♥ absolutly boring and RNG as ♥♥♥♥.

Perfomance: Sucks so bad that we had to abandon playing this 10fps inside of big buildings simulator.

Looting: Sucks even worse. Now zeds are scripted and you can find many bugs with script not working and you being unable to complete the quest cause zeds bugged out somewhere.

Map: Looks better I guess, but HOW TO ENJOY A CITY WITH 30fps inside of it or less.

Zombies: Dismemberment is just meh. I would rather have my FPS then zeds time to time losing a hand.

Traiders quests: Nerfed into oblivion, trash they give to you as reward is around 1/10 of the money they give you for the reward.

Well well well, finally 600 hours of gameplay and I have finally decided to review this garbage for what this really is.

A DLC factory.

Vanilla is just an empty shell of the same repeating events over and over with nothing much to do after you have played the first ten games. The game is just empty. If you play without DLC, even more so. Most of the content is in DLCs that feel more like a mod than a DLC. Without DLC you have a bare-bones game.

You will also notice that there isn't much to do with skill or knowledge of the game. Most of the game is heavily based on luck. Did you get lucky and have 20 planets around you? You now can surpass nearby AIs that still share just 1 brain cell and the only thing how they can survive your reign of terror is by difficulty bonuses. Without these, they suck.

Or did you get unlucky and have to restart 1 hour into the game cause you have no space and any tall build pretty much sucks and is boring to watch an AI simulator?

On the other point, it doesn't feel like you are playing against an enemy, more like they are all just an obstacle. The obstacle to further freaking annoys you. Have you finally decided to go on a purge spree? Well, all AIs just group up into 1 mega federation. That just steamrolls you no matter what you do.

On the other hand, if you can steamroll all AIs, it just gets boring. If you can't, you are annoyed cause they also group up and now you can't declare war on anyone without dragging half a galaxy into it. So you sit there in your little corner and just watch how the galaxy does pretty much nothing but one AI vassalizing the entire galaxy.

The performance. Oh god, the performance. The game runs like absolute ♥♥♥♥, no matter how good your PC is. You will always get to some point when the game takes ages for a year to pass and most of your time is spent just watching the paint dry.

Now to the latest news. MORE DLCs YAY. As if this game "checks notes" doesn't already cost over 240 EUROS to buy in its entirety or around 140 with all discounts. For a mod-level amount of content. The mods are free by the way. Next DLC is planned to cost around 20 euros each. So how nice of them to make them cost just 2/3 of the game.

My recommendation is to stay away from the EVERYTHING paradox ever makes. It will always fall into the DLC factory ♥♥♥♥ show with everything being rebalanced each update, fun stuff getting nerfed game being slowed down, etc. With AI's that are more A than I playing against it is mostly based on abusing vassalization to infinity.

There is barely any online at all, most of the time was spent waiting for a lobby or just waiting for anyone to play it. I have a suspicion that "ingame online" is just a fake number. I checked all servers and at best there were 10 lobbies with 1-3 people in there by the server, with 6 servers we get at best 180 people.

On top add to the list the fact u get a max of 400$ by game. And if u miss (there are issues with house hitboxes on the way of ♥♥♥♥ you throw) you have to buy ♥♥♥♥, it does not matter if u catch the ghost and survive. That money is gone. If u wasted more than 300$ most likely you will just lose money. There is a motion detector that COSTS alone 500$. And U need at lest 2 cause if ghost changes floors it stops working.

On top to get somewhat original-looking ghosts u need level 10. Still, all ghosts are absolutely the same in the way they conduct themselves. It doesn't matter who you get. They do the same ♥♥♥♥. On top, if u have enough money you can just straight-up guess ♥♥♥♥ to exorcise it. Just find how it looks, throw whatever is throwable at it. Light all candles, open all taps, light all light and open all doors. Here u have done from 1-3 steps to exorcise it. You don't need a single clue except see how it looks. Some evidence arent even usefull. Same with many ♥♥♥♥ you can buy in the shop. You don't need most of it.

It's a buggy mess of unity assets that aren't even done well. Ghosts keep bugging on the second floor or the other floor but not the first one. Visuals are buggy too, you will notice 2 ghosts or just broken animations.

Constant connection issues. You start 4 man lobby and find out everyone got kicked or you are alone. I had a game that just disconnected me for no reason whatsoever, had to wait almost 40 minutes for a lobby.

As it is the game is an unplayable cash grab. I gave it enough leeway but I don't see this getting any better. Even the first trailer that now is deleted, was just animated. I'm requesting a refund at the moment due to not seeing myself playing this.
