Stalker The English Dragon 最近的评测

I very very rarely play a game from start to finish as my ADD riddled brain keeps hopping between them, this game however, over a week I sat down and played from start to finish.

The music is fantastic, I loved all the characters and the antagonist is so good, probably the best JRPG i've ever played

As someone who lives in Birmingham, this game does a good job of bringing it to life with mindless bald people drooling and growling towards you, just like in real life!

I'm really confused as to the target audience of this game, it's difficult but in all the ways I can't stand and can't imagine anyone enjoying. The combat is too clunky and action rpg'y to really feel like i've ever mastered it, progress is gear based and skill based but there are multiple ways you can lose that progress. Your character themselves does not level up unless you pay money for passive perks. I just don't think this is a game for me, for every one step I take it feels like i'm 5 minutes away from 10 steps back.

There is a DLC called the "Chronicle pack" that is a free addition to the game, it adds optional bosses, characters and an extra ending. Guess what? Steam doesn't auto install it and the game doesn't notify you of its existence, I'm almost 20 hours in now realising I'm not getting the full experience and have to restart to get it?

Killed all my motivation to continue sadly, will be something I come back to in a year or two with the extra DLC. Why this isn't included in the base game is beyond ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid.

Bought this on a whim and i'm really pleased with what I got, super unique roguelike with crazy graogucs

The games runs like ♥♥♥♥, no excuse for it to chug this badly
