1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
3 large eggs
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp vegetable oil (or beef drippings for extra flavor)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, and salt until smooth.
Pour the vegetable oil (or beef drippings) into a 12-cup muffin tin, putting about 1/2 teaspoon in each cup.
Place the tin in the oven and heat until the oil is smoking hot (about 5 minutes).
Quickly pour the batter into the hot oil, filling each cup about halfway.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they’ve puffed up and are golden brown.
Serve immediately with roast beef and gravy.
