Very basic, it's a nice concept but could use a lot more polishing and content.
There are some bugs, some visual glitches and a lot more content is needed to justify the price tag.

Also the game has frame drops at increasingly smaller intervals while the park expands, but the size of the parks does not justify dropped frames especially since it's 2D.

I know you're a single developer so I give a thumbs up.
Try to do more patches though, so that future costumers will like the product more.

A game that is playable is only half the work done.
Polishing and bug fixing is what makes the game complete ;)

For someone who plays on medium difficulty by default, I did enjoy playing this one on 'insane' difficulty in my first (and only) playthrough. Be warned though that some enemies are quite bullet-spongy at this difficulty setting. Although I usually hate bullet sponges, the various 'magic' mechanics in this game made it enjoyable rather than frustrating - a balance very few games achieve. The boss fight took up quite some time (I remember spending 45 glorious minutes fighting one of the bosses and loving every minute of it), but I have no reference as to whether or not this is also the case on other difficulties.

As for the graphics, it's not the worst 2013 game to play in 2020. The controls take some getting used to (double tap movement keys to use 'magic'), but after a while this becomes second nature. You'll need to use those skills as often as possible, so learn to appreciate the luxury of not having to bind and use X amount of additional keys. The double-taps fit perfectly in the flow of battle and become second nature once you start using them regularly.

Most of the levels are well designed, there are secrets to be found, searching through drawers and cabinets is done with a single press of a key - no time lost looking through inventories.

If you're still on the edge about buying this game, then I highly recommend you try out the demo first. Won't take long before you will realize that all you've ever looked for in a game is more Wang - and this game has all the Wang you'll ever want!

The guns in this game sound great. The movement feels clunky. For once this a good thing since you're moving around as a robot.

Unfortunately the robot isn't the fastest and the map is quite large. With YouTube playing on your other screen, however, the longer walks seem to go by much faster.

The way to 'access Payday 2 VR' as it is currently described on the Payday 2 VR page does not work for me. Tried a few times, changed around some stuff, furthest I have gotten was looking at a D image in a cinema room without having controls. Will change review if it ever works as quick and easy as it is described.

This game exploits the joy of finding a method an optimizing it, while gradually obtaining better tools so you can work more efficiently. Slight changes in ship design and contents make it challenging, there are certain hazards to keep in mind. Limits on both time and resources provides incentives to improve in efficient deconstruction. Your debt and costs of renting tools provides incentives for sorting out everything into the right processing ports.

After over a decade of uncertain anticipation, this game is what finally pushed me to get into VR - and I'm glad it did! Exceeding my expectations, Valve has shown they've still got what it takes to push gaming forward.

Detailed, interactive environments and environmental storytelling; plenty of funny moments; simple yet intriguing puzzles and intuitive controls are only a fraction of what makes this game well worth the investment.

Now let's just hope it won't be another decade before the next Half-Life game is released ;)

A fun example of how too much realism hurts immersions. Although it is fun to walk around in and interact with the environment, having a full body in VR often results in frustration as this body tends to get in the way.

Other than that, it's a fun sandbox where you engage in combat in a fun and immersive way. The puzzles don't have a single solution, doesn't matter how you solve them. Let your imagination go wild.

Tip: Put a carpet in the middle of your play area. This makes it easier to stay in the center of your play area when combat requires your full attention.
