Factory Town is a great automation / city builder game which stands out so well from others due to simplicity yet huge depth of complexity later on, but in a nutshell, the game is as advanced as the player lets it be. You can focus on just working with your villagers to do everything, You can work with just your conveyor belts to do everything, mix it up, get creative and etc. IT doesn't matter because no matter how you want to do it, you'll have ways to make it happen and with no threats, pressure or game over screens to stop you.

I find out of all the automation games, I often recommend this to clients first because I feel this game is the perfect entry level to automation games but it also provides a strong depth that would cater to veterans of automation games too. I also enjoy just leaving the game on while I do some admin work on the side and it kinda acts like a lil' ant colony thing where here and there, just gotta do a few changes and updates and then it flows again. That along with its beautiful relaxing soundtrack as well, it's easily one of the best automation games I've played.

David the Diver is quietly hiding its depth of gameplay with various mini game modes in a brightly coloured pixel game.

You play as Dave, A friendly chubby bloke who happens to be in a diver and ends up running a sushi shop while he's there.
Catch is (pun intended) is that David isn't working out a logistics network of trucks to get his fish, Instead he's going to deep dive into the waters below and catch each fish by himself. You're be doing a classic hunter and gathering mission and then when thats all done, you head up to your shop and make some money, Strange thing is even with the fact he swims all day and every day, Then rushes around orders in a sushi restaurant, David never seems to shed a single bit of weight off his belly. He might wanna go get that checked out, hey.

But you don't have time for that. Or ... at least its not a mode I've unlocked yet. This game has a LOT of activities for players to take part in. At first it starts off as a two phase mode but very quickly it adds so much more. Not only are you collecting fish for supplies for your shop, Now you're managing staff, upgrading your restaurant, skill training your staff, learning new recipes, juggling balances, etc. There is a decent business sim hidden here but when you've got your head wrapped around that, along comes a whole lot of new modes and features.

Crafting upgrades for your suit, your tools and your weapons, Fish Farms to ensure a steady supply of fish when you're focused on other fish and a decent story with fun cutscenes that leaves you wondering whats going to happen next, and a reminder that there's more to life than just making big money.

The list goes on and I would warn that this is the only negative part of the game. The amount of information and "tutorials" there are is overwhelming at the first, You'll be slammed with so many features and game modes in this single game that many might actually withdraw from the game altogether but fortunately. happy to let you know.

You don't have to know everything exactly all at once and you can take your time participating it in all. My recommendation for players who are easily intimated by heavy dialog boxes of words and sudden increases of depth in game and brain weight would be, don't rush the main story quests. take your time and fully understand each section first before you advance the story line. You can literally just spend each day doing anything you want and progress at your own pace.
