Ever play a sci-fi horror game and think to yourself "Glad I'm not the one who has to clean up this mess"?
Well guess what buddy, now it's your turn.

I'm well aware this game is still a work in progress (at the time of this review) But I am already impressed by the quality of this game. Rich, Detailed enviroments just make this game all the better and is proof that everything is better in space.

An okay game.
The game is actually fun on easy. However (and this is a BIG however) On hard (as there are only two dificulty levels) The game become pretty much unplayable. The games so-called realistic car physics make the game unplayable. Steering is lousy and unresposive at the best of times and this becomes more of a problem given that your vehicle gets hung up on every sudden change in the course. If you get turned around (and you will be a lot) You'll most likely of lost whatwver lead you had by the time you start to face the right direction.
I actually had to drive backwards for 3/4 of a lap just to come in 3rd. If you get knocked off the track (durring a pile up on a corner most of the time) you wont be able to get back on it. and killing yourself with your own mines won't help either. you can drive until you fall off the map entirly (which wont kill you by the way) the only way to get back to the game is to quit. There is no retry on hard so you'll automatically get 4th for that race. If you are looking for a casual racing game I'm sure you can find a better game elsewere. or at least one that dosen't feel like a like self abuse.
But like I said before. On Easy. The game is sorta fun.

Hell it's about time...

Before you trolls B***h about poor voice acting and everything being too brown. you know what you guys just leave the room right now. They gone? Okay. Now if you ever wanted to be the freighter getting attacked by pirates only with buggys and you're driving a truck with optional shotgun turrets, heavy armor and no Tom Hanks. this is it.
In the end this game deserves to be on Steam. Enjoy.

Now having played the old CD-ROM version of Beat Hazard it took me for a loop when I finally got Ultra. There was a slight drift after leting go of the controls. Not as bad as say Asteroids but one I had long gotten use to. I'm am pleased to see more enemies in the game and the aditions of PERKS and Internet Radio greatly improve the game's replay value.
I am sad however not to find the old "built in" tracks in the menu. There are new music in its place but I'm a bit nestalgic for the old ones.

Want to slaughter hords of nasty aliens? Like it when your enimies go slpat into heaps of blood and gore? If you said yes then this is the game for you..

Okay, No joke. This game has the best looking sci-fi enviroment since Doom 3..
Screw hippy cat people and overgrown spirit trees this is industrial grade greatness at it's best.
