This game is one I have spent over a thousand hours playing since it came out. It's not for everyone, but especially sicne the Emperor Edition Upgrade it is a well rounded experience for anyone coming to it with an open mind. If you want a sandbox Grand Strategy Game then this is a good place to start. While it doesn't have the complexity of a Paradox game, it is much better suited to those interested in the strategy Genre who worry about getting lost in mechanics.

Total War Rome II, from my perspective, is an excellent purchase and a steal if it is on sale.
