Probably the best value you can find on Steam. 10 years worth of updates, big and small. Addictive as all hell, though, but the possibilities for creativity, be it building or optimizing your way of kicking a boss's ass, are endless. Can't recommend enough.

Runs well, moddable, still has a considerable playerbase, fun as hell and the shooting feels great.

I love this game and so should you.

Possibly the last installment in the franchise, Max Payne 3 is the final aventure of the eponymous, painkiller-addicted, alcoholic hero, wherein he has to defend his employer and his acquaintances. The game is hard, rewarding, satisfying, atmospheric and its multiplayer is great too. Can't recommend enough.

2017 update: yup, point still stands

I suck, but when i suck a bit less i actually enjoy it.

One of the few F2P games that does F2P right. All of the things you can buy with real money are cosmetic, everything in the store is balanced (has an advantage and disadvantage), and it's fun! It's faster-paced that Dota 2 or LoL, it has that Magicka trademark humor, the spells are brilliant and everything about it just feels right. Try it!
