Capcom had a lot of people skeptical with this game, and I somewhat understand. I went in expecting dino crisis, but what I got was something akin to world war z and vanquish with some pvp. It just Works. Set pieces in scripted missions and random tidbits the AI drops as it tries to end your existence keep the game hype and extremely enjoyable.
Its extremely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun.

I spent a night living my white walkers dream and turning everything into frozen undead.
Combat is fun and varied, with units having various skills and roles that are buffed by your hero's chosen skills. Empire building relies on either vassalization or conquering of city states, or either razing the competing empires' cities to the ground. fantastic game.
10/10

Best modern fantasy 4x on steam, maybe best 4x to release this year

Fun, bitesized roguelike puzzler with a mountain of puns and other hilarious refrences. The gameplay is tight enough to intrest new players, and the changes from the first game are significant enough to change how owners of the first game play through this one. Enjoyable.

A bullet hell style rogue-like with a fantastic story, music, and gameplay. Do multiple runs through various biomes as you uncover the reasons why you are trapped on an alien planet. Permanent upgrades appear as you explore and defeat bosses, while weapons with randomized abilities appear along with random items each run.

Fun as hell, but not for Selene.

Fork over other playstation exclusives

Fantastic level design with large, varied paths to completion, a banging soundtrack and the most unashamedly cliched story combine to create a fantastic game that is arguably better than the best sonic games. Comes with a few levels from the previous game upon beating the main story. An absolute treat to play through.

An extremely compelling and ambitious grand strategy game from the makers of the Long War Xcom mod. Pick a faction and compete or cooperate with 6 other factions as you navigate geopolitics and eventually the colonization and exploitation of space to respond to alien invaders. The playable factions all have different goals throughout the course of the game, from resisting the alien invaders, to appeasing and out right exodus of the earth itself.

Early game will mostly focus on securing influence and control over nations while defending and removing the influence of others by recruiting "Councilors". Councilors are operatives that come with different skillets and access to different organizations, which can be used to modify their skills and active abilities.

Geopolitics in the game focus on controlling all aspects of the nations you influence through the use of improvement points; these allow you to set how much of your GDP goes to each aspect, such as military, education, and "boost", which you will need for the next part of the game.

After researching the required projects, you can then build space stations and outposts around the earth, moon and beyond. The game can model the entire solar system on full settings, giving you plenty of moons and asteroids in addition to the planets that you can probe, colonize and exploit. The aliens can do this as well; depending on tech you research, you will be given notice of their bases and outposts throughout the solar system.

The game has a very steep learning curve; there is a lot to balance between making sure your councilors are safe (and loyal to you), the competition to dictate global research, as well as keeping your controlled nations safe and happy while alien abductions occur. Once it clicks, the game has the classic "one more turn feel" that keeps you playing well beyond what you expected. This is well worth the price as it has delivered a fully functional game, and will only get better throughout early access.

Wtf is a Lagrange Point, btw

fun mech based shooter, lot of mech variants and customization. May run a bit weird on some graphics cards but it’s EA and well worth the price. PvP only, so far.
