It generates a great atmosphere to help me study. I've been using it daily. However, it could use some improvements (I agree a lot with the top review so I'll repeat some of what he/she had to say.):

1. I personally have this bug where the minimize/fullscreen button fails to work about 90% of the time.
2. There are only a few tracks, which doesn't bother me since I can just use the overlay to listen to some more and mute in-game. However, I feel like adding a streaming function, more tracks, or even linking spotify (as the top review has stated) would be an amazing addition.
3. The background should be more interactive and customizable. Being able to zoom in/out of the room, rotating it to see different angles, addition of unlockable/purchasable items, and unlockable/purchasable scenes would be nice to see. Perhaps some objects can open menus, like the bookshelf opening pages to type notes in. However, this may promote procrastinating. The player may instead focus on designing their cottage instead using the app to study. One solution may be to only allow customization/interaction prior to starting the timer, or setting a password/lock to be able to interact.

Overall I enjoy the simplicity of Virtual Cottage. Maybe my ideas would take away from the point of the app, but I'd like to see them nonetheless. I'd be happy to pay a few dollars towards this app, too.
