Its diet atlas... There is no endgoal or bosses just online fighting. It has good assets and good building and good systems just no real goal to it all other than online pvp. And a dead online pvp community at that with nothing to do other than get malled by alpha tribes. If you like this game just go play atlas.

Just beat the game with my best friend. Was worth every penny so glad we played. Very emotional having to power down the ship and after beating the game. Will be back with more updates.

This game may not look the best but its totally a ball of fun and will get you itching to play again!

The game itself has little to nothing to do in my opinion, and it is also my opinion the development team has bad ethics. It is my opinion also you should stay away from this game.

Be aware if you say anything negative or try to disprove any fanboys in the forums your comments will be deleted and you will be banned. Don't argue with people just do your research on this game. All promises and thats what it will be.

Amazing game, I always have a lot of fun with this game when im looking to change things up. Gameplay is solid.

This game has been in early access for a long time and pushes updates very slowly, however despite that. I am now recommending it. The development team of this game has not given up and has pushed quality patches time and time again. They are nearing the end of their development, from what I am told and I can say safely that the game is worth it.

Subnatica is an amazing adventure into a new kind of survival. Without guns or big weapons you must adapt to the eviorment around you. The Gameplay is solid. The story is good. The voice acting is fantastic. And the VR experience is trippy. Only negative thing I have to say is it has no replay value. One you completed and done the story you have done it all. Other than buiding a nice base there isnt much to do.

I have officially played this game for more than 100 hours. I feel it is time to give a review of it so here it goes.

I do not recommend this game to friends. Why might you ask? There are a few reasons which I will go into.

Catering to the wrong crowd. By this, they are playing into the PvP crowd and actively supporting PvP. They even released a video about... no joke "getting gud" that itself is a complete joke for a developer to ever do. More and more of the features are going to revolve around PvP on their roadmap. I find this to be sad they won't attempt to even make one implement any PvE aspect. They also plan to release territories... So they not only want PvP they want to lock zones from players where alliances will beat the crap out of if you come in. Great Idea so much fun... I am being sarcastic of course. Just imagine exploring all the zones and then going into a controlled zone which will already damage you but now you got to deal with an alliance in that zone.

Inability to attempt change for PvE. They have actively stated they WILL NOT be working on a PvE side of this game other than a starting zone for new players (See sources [1] and [2]. So if you ever have your hopes up for PvE go somewhere else they don't seem to care. And not only that I believe they are being dishonest with us. They stated in the forums a PvE server would bring in griefers that would attempt to kill you anyway and we should not hope for it. (see sources [3]). In that post, they also stated people would exist just to harm other players. It honestly seem like thats an excuse for not even attempting or trying. I would honestly prefer if they made at least 1 PvE server where it was so hard to kill another player that it wouldn't be worth the effort. For instance, locking all your chests even if they get damaged. Which is already in the code. Reference: Shipyards you can't access or interact with anything unless you are the owner or you destroy the shipyard. They can lock your entire inventory like they do your belt so they won't even get anything on death. Its already all coded they just don't want to do it because they actively like and support PvP playstyle. So their excuse of It cant be done is just that an excuse. Also, side note they forget in a PvE server you only need a swivel gun, not a cannon so attacking ships with cannons is solved outright.

They have also stated there will be no private servers (See reference [2] and [4]). They want the player interaction to be a core in their game. Which rightfully this game does do well with interaction but not when you are constantly stressed out to not to ship blown up by people. Losing hours of work to interact with players? I'd rather not. But not releasing servers is just another marking move. They want to milk players later down the road with cosmetic purchases and they want to do that on their servers which will play into players looking at other players with cool skins/cosmetics and want to buy it too. It's all to make more money. Just what we need another skin economy game. See sources [2] and [5].

Steam Item Marketplace. That's right they are going to try and do what Diablo 3 though was going to work so well. And it's not like this is uncommon look at the latest hits Fortnite Pubg and Payday, to name a couple. They will farm the player base with the old has and has not mentality.

I have also run out of things to do in the game other than just farm better cannons and or engines. I have got every core schematic to make. That being all the atlas upgrades, crows nest, shipping container etc. And have found full godhand clothing. I have found pretty much everything there is within a week.

If you are not playing with friends I wouldn't even bother with this game at all.

In closing I find this all to be sad I think they got a really good game but they are going about this all wrong. I do think there should be PvP and I do think there should be PvE. But separate like so many other sandbox games do. For instance Ark, Conan, WoW... the list goes on. I am sure people will say "but they aren't physics-based" well first they wouldn't be so dumb to do that and there is one game that did separate PvP and PvE and that's space engineers.

I didn't enjoy the discord because everyone in there likes fighting and it has very bad moderation. You say they are passionate. Ya passionate about PvP. No thanks.

Good game for VR. If you have a VR device I would encourage picking this up. It is worth the $5 to grab this one. Honestly I hope it gets a little more attention that it has.

This game is inclusive and intrigues the player. This episode is a great way to draw a player in and keep wanting more.
