Chorus is a note to the arcade flight games of the past with a few new tricks to make it memorable. Its combat is fast, it's abilities (Rites) make the fights are bit more complex and exciting, it's story is usual fanfare, but good enough to get the story moving and interesting.

Pros:
+ Combat
+ Visuals
+ Rites
+Strafing mid flight

Cons:
- Great story but Low budget feels like a censored high school production of RENT
- Plot Holes (hopefully there is a sequel to correct this)
- Open Space (You'll be traveling in an empty void often)
- End Boss (won't ruin it for you, but get ready for that)

This game has moments of greatness and a few more often moments of meh (side missions). Much respect to the Developer: FishLabs and Publisher: Deep Silver for this title. Wish there were more games in this style beyond the Star Wars and Star Fox series. I really hope this game gets a sequel, the production value on this title alone is worth the second effort.

Give it a try, (there is a free demo) and I'm sure you'll be quite surprised at what you find beyond the initial layers.

Picked this up recently after a conversation with a friend about games that shocked us. Was wondering if this classic would hold up after all these years. What I discovered is... IT DOES. Dead Space is an incredible game, with a great story and probably the definitive horror game by design. Dead Space sucks you into it's world via great game play, great visuals and amazing set pieces that were far a head of it's time. Going directly to my favorite of the series, Dead Space 2 shortly. If you haven't played it in a while, it's worth another run, and I can clearly see why they want to remake this. (Really looking forward to that). Highly recommend!

Although Buggy, Lagged and charming old school feel, I loved the first State of Decay. This sequel has removed a few key features and narrative pushes form the first game for a more arcade feel and reach to appeal to a bigger audience. The game is interesting with features improved on and the over all game mechanics updates. Again buggy, and Lagged with a few game breaking bugs, but the support continued and improvements were made over time. Then the expansion was released...
Juggernaut Edition also packs in SOD2’s two expansion packs as well. Heartland takes us back to Trumbull Valley, for a story-focused adventure. It’s nice to see the entire original State of Decay map with a decent paint job on top and Heartland fills in a few narratives left behind by the campaign original game. (you'll hear about the exploits of the original cast, but sadly not too many of the survivors.

Daybreak is by far State of Decay 2’s second expansion pack and is definitely the most addictive, tense and Co-Op mode in State of Decay 2. Imagine a Horde Mode from the Gears series, with waves of zombies attacking your stronghold. With 4 possible coop players to join you on this effort, you get breaks between waves you can reinforce walls, heal your team or run into the darkness far from the safety of your walls and away from the lights for supplies to prepare for the next wave of Zeds (what they call Zombies in this world).

In case you are wondering, Juggernaut Edition provides the highest quality and most expansive State of Decay experience in a single title, replacing the Standard and Ultimate editions, and includes all previous add-on packs (Independence Pack, Daybreak Pack, and State of Decay 2: Heartland). This also includes updates and upgrades to the visuals, controls and mechanics of the game.

With each wave completed, you'll earn points whether you win or die that’ll unlock weapons for future runs in the main game. You can play Daybreak online or by yourself, NOTE however, SOD2’s AI makes this a hit or miss experience on the support front. Either way, Daybreak is probably the fastest and direct way to get to the fun of the game. set up your walls, protect them and your friends/fellow protectors and you just might make it the night to see Daybreak.

Just saw the trailer for the 3rd game in the series for the twelfth time this week... (can you tell I'm looking forward to it?) hopefully the team has learned a few new things from the experience that is SOD2 and improves on that for SOD3.

After 253 hours on this game.... If you enjoy open world zombie games with enough survivor to make it interesting but some fun factors to make it manageable... this is your game. It's not a full Zombie sim, but it can get additive and cause you a few nail biting experiences as you search for supplies for our base.

Great game.. a nice mix of RPG elements, 3rd person shooter, Sneaking, Resource management and PERMA-DEATH. (your character dies, they are DEAD.. no coming back). I decided to go back to this one after completing the 2nd game. And to be honest, I like this one better.

Great game all around. It's everything the first game was... with a bit of a small tweak/remix. The combat has been tweaked a bit to allow physical melee options. New abilities are all over, both in the unique and an update to the original game. The Melee combat is a bit of hit and miss. Not always spot on, but still fun.

The STORY is the highlight here. The exploration and traveling is fun. Would recommend but understand that there is A LOT of platforming. The chase scenes from the original (escapes and all) are back with a vengeance. The abilities wheel is back, but now you need to keep only 3 active at once. But ultimately there are only a handful that you would keep in heavy rotation. In comparison to the first entry in the series it has moments of "WOW".... and a few that are "ok, that's different".

I like it.. even the repeat beats of the first game. Looking forward to the new entry, maybe next year? WHO KNOWS.. but I'll be waiting!

WOW..... so this is what a GOOD superman game could be. We should get these guys on kickstarter and flesh out this game a bit more. The boss battles are a nice change of pace and the "saves" around the city were fun. But to see the Superman 64 flight rings DONE RIGHT? that was just amazing. PLAY THIS GAME. I wish this team the best and look forward to what they will be able to make in the near future. it's AWESOME!! DON'T MISS IT!!

This is a great blueprint for how remakes should be made moving forward. The visuals are great, the controls modern with a flair of retro and the sound design was just almost perfect.

The only disappointment would be in the lack of interactions between the character scenarios. In the original release, Clair A to Leon B was cannon. During that campaign, the game was changed by the game play of Clair. For example, she blows up a wall to get access to a part of the police station that was blocked by debris... after it's performed, she radios Leon who then has access to the cleared space. This is just one example, as there are many others, but it was sad to not see this translated in the remake.

That is by far my only major complaint. There is one major story breaking development... but I'll leave that to you to find and debate.

Highly recommended and if this is your first time with the game (no prior experience with the PSX version), you are in for a treat!!

So far I have put in about 130+ hours on this game. Around 33 hours on the Alexios campaign, I decided to start over and play as Kassandra... Best choice EVER. It seems the game was designed with Kassandra in mind and then added Alexios later down the line. The performances with the narrative work best with Kassandra. The captures and voice were just better with her than her male counterpart.

To be frank, this isn't a traditional Assassin's Creed game. Sure some of the tropes from the series are in full force, but you can see the changes inspired by games like the Witcher 3 and the applied learnings from Last years Origins. it's a bold jump in a new direction but in some cases it feels like it's lost it's charm. if feels more of an emulation of a hybrid game of the aforementioned.... BUT the game really comes together when you get past the overall narrative and focus on the exporation. This game really SHINES in this. you can use the guided narrative of the previous games or GO all out. NO hints no markers and you explore the world as you see fit. It's really a marvel of work and efforts by the various teams.

If the teams release this as a single assassin, Kassandra, and focused on building the world and how she reacts and lives in it... it would have been a better game. the addition of Alexious hurts the narrative a bit... Exploring Greece is just amazing. you can see the progress from last years game to this years release. I'm not a fan of the micro transactions... but they are not needed. I have yet to purchase anything beyond the season pass. With no spoilers... I love what the have done with the mondern day segments in this game. (want more see for yourself).

I'm looking forward to the new content, first hidden Dagger and Atlantis. I just completed Atlantis and had no idea I was working on that part of the narrative until it happend. :)

Overall.. this is a solid step in a new direction and I look forward to seeing what they cook up for the next entry. BUT.... stick to one protagonist.... having multiple hurts the flow unless they do the Frye Twins again. It's a beautiful game, the engines work better than expected and some of the glitches are more fun and jokey then game breaking. it's an adventure you should try for yourself.

Now... Off I go back to Kassandra.

- UPDATE - Although i originally recommended this game... I've reached a game breaking bug with the Home Sweet Home mission, now I have it as a quest with no marker and no distination. because the narrative is tied ot Odyssey missions... this mission will not complete and therefore I can not proceed. Maybe this is a game breaking issue for completeing the Atlantis mission before completing the main game?

Would SUCK to have to start all over again. SERIOUSLY... and from what I've seen so far, Forums and notes from Unisoft Reps, there is no fix in sight beyond erashing the save and starting ALL OVER AGAIN...

Sad to say... but maybe, just maybe... this is the one Assassin's Creed game I do not complete. and with that, I can not Recommend this game with this game breaking issue that prevents the continuation of the narrative.

It's what happens when you mix darksouls with sci-fi and the result... Soul Blood Mechs. The Surge does a really good job of letting you discover the story of the world you play in. There are a bunch of detailed audio-logs and some great storytelling. The environmental notices and anti-suicide warnings are posted on bridges in production areas, while travelling this world (usually in the 2nd location) screens blast a PR rep spewing nonsense about the “corporate family” nearby, or you’ll find a pair of bodies huddled close together in the back of a dark, BLOODY mess of a maintenance tunnel. Small design details like that really help flesh out the narrative, which makes it kind of strange that things get so confusing and some times frustrating.

One major plus are the Exo Suits and the custom options/selection available. You'll get new parts by combating other exo suits, the trick is you have to not only defeat them... but focus on a part to get said part. there is an decent cat and mouse game you play as you start to look for parts to enhance your Exo-suit or like the collector I am.... going back for the full set and weapons. (man I miss Armored Core soooo much).

ooh yeah, DEATH is something you will see a lot. When it eventually happens, you'll have a timer to get back to that location and collect the scrap (the currency in this game) you've dropped. Failure to do so means a loss. The combat is actually really good in this game. it does not get boring. Every encounter keeps you on your toes and proceeding with caution. Over time you'll get confident... but don't get cocky!

I'm about half way through this so I'll add more to this review when I get to the end. Also... you are in for a treat at the beginning of the game. (You will see it as soon as you have control of your character) I have yet to see a lead protagonist with this much detail before the game starts. So far it's a Solid 8, bonus points for the colorful display and the great finishers. (each specific to the part of the body you are focused on).

I was just in formed that there is a sequel coming... that's great news. I hope they remedy the story pitfalls and lack of a MAP feature in the new entry. This could be a great new series if they button up a few things. That's it for now, see you at the end.

Summary: DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 builds upon the DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE with updated visuals and a bigger detailed Dragon Ball Overworld map to date.

* Relive the Dragon Ball Z (and this time non-cannon film) storylines by time traveling to historic moments in the DBZ.
* New characters and boss fights
* More options to character creation system and adjustments to the fighting engine of yester-year.
* Free updates and post launch support for more than a year. [FREE***]

Over all it's ok, pretty much the same as last year with a few tweaks to make it feel fresh.
