blinK this usually happens if there is some sort of lag between your PC + Steam servers. Just close Steam, restart it, and it usually fixes it. You could even uninstall it from Steam, redownload and reinstall to force Steam to obtain a license.

Also make sure you're using your normal Windows account stuff and all that.

CPUCores won't start because I don't have the license key even tho I bought it through steam.

I've honestly never used Razer Cortex, but a guy named Latharion on the CPUCores steam forum did a good comparison. Lots of users say CPUCores is much better, too. :) I believe people sometimes use both at once, too.

FluidZ, that is default for all Steam everything (games or apps) launched via Steam.

Note that CPUCores does NOT show up as the game you're playing when you're gaming. Instead, the actual game shows up. So if you use CPUCores to launch Steam's CSGO, then people will see you as playing CSGO, not CPUCores.

My operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1. I have AMD A6-3430MX Llano 32nm Technology 4-core Processor. And some weird kind of Samsung motherboard. For Graphics there is 2 integrated graphics cards 512MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6520G (Samsung) and 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6470M (Samsung).

Also, a while back there was an odd situation where a person happened to have 1 core on their processor which had overheating/issues. Just out of curiosity, try running Prime95 + RealTempGT for a few hours, see what it looks like. Might as well toss a Memtest86 afterwards in there just in case.

Hey Tim, I have some issues with CPUCores. When I play CS:GO the game just like freezes and it keeps playing the sound and then i have to shut down my computer. You suggested to turn on Constrain web browsers but it made it even worse. Is there something I can do about that?

Me and the Lead programmer we were the founders of it, but in all truth everyone on the team has a word to say about how things shape up. most of the decisions though are based on what we can actually do instead of waht we really want to do. but its our first game and we are quite happy so far
