Anyone know where I could get a dred modding for dummies book? I've finally created my first little mod but none of the instructions I have seen about how to add it make sense to me. @GorY no i dont, but i have all the dlc's. Idk if it can do that, but its not that i lost all my saves, the problem is that k cannot save it

@Speaker, are you using Mods with your game?, if you change your game setup or stop using a mod or add a new one then your saves will reset, be sure of which mods you are going to play your game with and when you start the game make sure Mods are loaded before you hit the play button, hope that helps, @ DragonZ if quest monseter drops a pick-up to be transported to the nearest shrine then you will leave a quest unfinished then ???

Nvm, just found a room blocked by a vending machine, had a quest monster in there but poleram skills bailed me out :p

No vending machines but i have had some other stuff blocking some parts of the level

If you have not found out how to put the steam overlay on follow this. Right click Dungeons of Dredmor, then click properties, then click "Set launch options.." and enter "-opengl" then start the game.

I found an easy way to get Boiling Water Advisary (achievment). Put thaulmites on a weak enemy by a fountain, then when you kill him, get the thaulmites. Then when you have low HP, drink from fountain. NOTE: Save before doing this. If the water isn't acid, you can do it until the water is acid.

Ancestor Pootis Bird, I have some tips. 1. Put auto-loot on so when you get to a shop you will get lots of money. 2. After a fight, if you took 10dmg or more, retreat, keep skipping (space) until max HP.

Vampirism might help out to survive longer.

I love this game! Will i benefit at all from downloading the expansion while still playing my original game? Or is it loaded seperate from the normal game and does not cross over at all? I dont wanna have to start over either but just curious.

Congrats on 500 people in this group, Diddz! Also, I found out how to EASILY KILL A BRAX. 1. Anger him. 2. Stay in the shop and run around, when you can, attack! 3. Use the items. (it wouldn't matter, since you are going to kill him) 4. Kill the Brax! 5. Take everything, sell it to a shop and get rich! Note: If the Dread Collecters spawn, idk what happened. They didn't spawn for me.

I finally killed Dredmore but in dwarvish, I don't know if the game got easier after the last patch or something cause I had an easier time beating him, even archdiggles couldn't hurt me with 32 armour protection :)
