Maybe I'm just bad, but I cannot for the life of me finish NG+1. I'm playing a Warrior Tyrant, and I'm level 25. I've tried the great axe, sword & board, and warhammer. I've gotten as far as the Dark Halls, but I just cannot clear it. Is it just me or is NG+ just a lot harder than the standard difficulty?...

It's closing in on a month since the last update, and realistically, it's been 3 months since the game launched with next to nothing added for actual content. HoH2 is incredibly fun and has a solid gameplay loop, but the lack of actual unique things to do or new content make it feel like an extremely early access game. When can we expect new biomes, new bosses, new tiers of gear and trinkets, etc.? Will it ever come, or is this just what we get at this point?...

Just wondering, for me it's always pain to die and lose all of the equipments/progress made.

The new patch seems to have introduced an issue with some people failing to join certain games, a fix that has worked for some people has been for the entire group of people to reboot their PCs, verify integrity of the game files to make sure everyone has the newest version, and then try again. To verify integrity of game files right click the game in your library and pick Properties, then go into "Installed Files" and press "Verify integrity of game files". This will force Steam to look for an update....
