The following fixes have been made in Patch 1.13, which was released today:

Fixed a bug that prevented the game from progressing when opening the “Inventory” menu after redeeming the “Golden Ball” from the “Sicko Snap” menu.

(In cases where Shen has already sent you a message about the transaction, the scenario will progress even if you do not have all of the Golden Balls in your inventory.

Fixed a bug that prevented the sub-story “The One” movie from being displayed correctly in some cases.

Fixed an issue in 1.12 where the frame rate dropped and loading times had increased compared to previous versions.

Announcement of Patch 1.12 Release for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii

Thank you for playing Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. We have released patch 1.12 today, which includes the following fixes:

• Fixed an issue where manual saving was not possible.

• Fixed an issue where loading a save data on a ship under certain conditions would cause the player to fall into the sea and be unable to return.

• Fixed an issue where the golden ball could not be obtained.

• Fixed an issue where arcade game rankings were not being saved.

• Corrected various typographical errors and improved localization issues.

• Various other bug fixes to improve stability and quality.

• Updated to Intel XeSS 2.0.1.

• Fixed a rare crash issue that occurred during resource loading.

The cause of random driver crashes on certain NVIDIA GPUs is still under investigation by the GPU vendor. It has been confirmed that setting a frame rate limit to 60 FPS reduces the likelihood of crashes. If you are experiencing frequent crashes, please try this solution.

Go to Settings > Graphic Settings > “Set FPS to 60”

We would like to inform you of the fixes included in patch 1.11 that was released today, as well as the status of our investigation of the issues that have been reported by customers.


Fixed an issue where DLSS and DLSS frame generation would not work properly in some environments. (DLSS OTA Update disabled)


The development team is currently investigating the following environments in which random crashes occur on the PC version, which have been reported by multiple users.

Windows 11 24H2

Core i9-14900

NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060 GeForce Game Ready Driver 572.47/572.16/566.36

3840x2160/120Hz VSync disabled / FPS unlimited

In the environments above, we have confirmed that the crash will not occur by reverting the driver version to 552.44, and we are continuing to investigate this issue and other environments in consultation with the GPU vendor.

Driver version that has been confirmed to resolve the issue: GeForce Game Ready Driver 552.44

We are also investigating other environments and fixing more issues, and plan to release another patch soon.

556.90/572.60

Currently, the latest WHQL driver confirmed to have no issues is 561.09. Since the crashes are occurring at the driver level, we are continuing to verify details with the GPU vendor.

Your seaworthy vessel, named after Noah's feline friend, Goro. In addition to letting you enjoy life at sea, the Goromaru boasts the captain's quarters and several other facilities, where you can kick back with some Karaoke, parties, and feasts with your crew!

Attach a trawl net to the Goromaru so you can efficiently bring in a variety of fish, materials, and other items during your voyages!
Talk to your crew members to check in with them. You can also give gifts that raise their morale and EXP, so try to mingle with them whenever possible!

Below deck, you can cook in the kitchen and customize Majima's outfit.

Raise your crew's morale by throwing raucous parties! Bringing everyone together for a hearty toast will lift everyone's spirits. You can also instantly boost the EXP of a select group of crew members by inviting them to a feast in the captain's quarters.

You'll meet characters around town who may be willing to join the Goro Pirates, including some familiar faces from past games. Scout your favorites and assemble the crew of your dreams!


Completing challenges, such as defeating enemy pirates or gathering treasure, helps Majima increase the crew's reputation. As you earn more reputation, the pirate rank of the Goro Pirates will increase, unlocking a slew of benefits!

Use the Treasury of Treasures to discover hints about the locations of hidden treasures.
When obtaining a treasure, you'll receive money and reputation, which can help you strengthen the Goro Pirates and improve their pirate rank. Amass a fortune and work toward completing the log!

Take down wanted criminals and turn them in for some cold, hard cash. Bounties are an excellent way to rake in enough dough to strengthen Majima and upgrade the Goromaru, so keep an eye out for bounties on the map and wanted posters!

Accessories that Majima can equip with varying special effects, including boosts to his Attack and Defense. In addition to purchasing them in stores, you can acquire them by helping townspeople with their troubles or finding them in treasure chests. Your equipped rings can be seen on Majima's fingers, so have fun decking him out with different looks and effects!
