I'm easily scared, but I curious about this game, I played another game by this developer, and I enjoyed it a lot. So, is this game really scary or has any jumpscare? I hate the latter.

Here's the easy fix: If you select "Launch Configuration Tool" when you run the game from Steam, then change the "Driver" to "Direct3D 9", then save and run the game - this should hopefully fix the issue. For context, I have one extra monitor hooked to my laptop of them as my main monitor and just got a hold of the game today.
