Zoey Replacing Rochelle - Campaign Loads and Menus

Replaces Rochelle in main menu images and most vanilla campaign posters (both standard and widescreen versions) with Zoey.
Many hours and plenty of effort went into this addon. Lots of work was done to replicate the background, bodies and clothing of the survivors whereever I needed to edit out Rochelle.
EG: Rochelle's hair covered Nick's suit. When put into place, Zoey's does not. Rochelle's hair is still visible behind Zoey. Lots of editing done to replicate Nick's suit to cover up Rochelle's hair.



This mod is intended for use with this "Zoey with longer hair replaces Rochelle" model mod alongside This Rochelle to Zoey voice pack replacement[i.imgur.com] addon.

• Question: When you linked above the model modification to replace Rochelle with Zoey, why did you link a version where Zoey has longer hair? Why not the original?
  
• Answer: Because of animation problems. With the original Zoey model replacing Rochelle, Rochelle is replaced fine, however the real Zoey becomes very broken in any L4D1 campaign. Her animations break and randomise, resulting in T-poses and junk like lying on the ground "dead" when she really isn't, causing mistakes like you shooting her on accident, or losing sight of her because she plays an animation where she goes underground or into the sky.
  
  The 'Longer Hair' version however, does NOT have this problem. Rochelle is replaced without problem, and the real Zoey is completely normal (save for the longer ponytail.) This is why I highly suggest using that one.

• A: Absoutely not.

• Q: Why did you make this?
  
• A: This is simply an addon for those who prefer Zoey over Rochelle, as many others like using mods that replace Coach, Ellis and Nick with Louis, Francis and Bill. Rochelle being replaced is the most popular type of this mod, which I use myself, so I decided to make the loading screens match.
  
  I worked hard on this till I was satisfied, why keep it to myself?

• Q: Where can I get the addon that replaces the text 'Rochelle', as seen in character select, above Rochelle's head and in the alert sidebar ("Ellis protected Rochelle") with 'Zoey' so the name is correct?
  
• A: You can find it here. It will replace every instance of 'Rochelle' with 'Zoey'.[www.gamemaps.com]

• Q: What is that poster with no name, where the survivors are being surrounded?
  
• A: This is the debug fallback load poster. You see this if you join a campaign via the console, a custom campaign that doesn't have it's own poster, or some modified third party Steam Group servers. It is also the origin of the Survival image.

• Q: What changed in the No Mercy poster?
  
• A: Zoey originally had three hands in this poster. Right hand holding her pistol, Left hand cupped around her Right, and then a extra Left hand cupped under the magazine. I edited it so she only has two hands now.

• Q:Why modify the Scavenge icon? It has nothing to do with Rochelle or Zoey.
  
• A: The can pictured does not match Scavenge mode cans, and I nitpick on that kinda thing.
