Explaining all achievements
May the Force be with you
Start main Quest
You'll automatically unlock this achievement as you play the game, just start a "new game" after watching the very short story, and there you go

This is Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again
Die for the first time
Self explanatory, just die once (which will happen often enough, trust me) and you'll unlock this achievment

Rank B
Get rank B
To achieve the B rank, which should actually happen by just playing the game, you need to get hit a few times and take your time clearing the floors. Also, try to not explore all of the floor since that would add a reward to your score and thus boost your rank

Rank A
Get rank A
To achieve the A rank, you need to play pretty neatly already. Try to explore all of your current level, kill monsters, open doors, loot what you can get and that's it. Actually no big deal.

Secret!
Find hidden place
While walking through any part of the dungeons, you'll sometimes come across walls that seem like they'll crumble away soon or that have a few distorted bricks in them. Stand next to the said wall, use a bomb and blow it up. There's your achievement.

 Rank S
Get rank S
S rank might seem hard to achieve, but there's actually more people that managed to get the S rank, than there's people who managed to get the C rank. To get the S, clear the floors as quickly as you can, avoid taking damage (Knight class is very good for that, since you have your shield) and completely explore the entire floor. Try to do all that and you should quickly get the S rank.

Reference.exe
Find baby
In Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again, the makers put little references for a lot of games in their own game. You'll find artifacts which can have a passive or active effect. One of the 3 Artifacts that will grant you a follower who helps you beat your way through the dungeons is Isaac. You can find him in secret parts of the level, in rooms that you unlock with keys or in shops. As soon as you see the iconic crying baby, grab it and enjoy the achievement.

Reference_2.exe
Candlevania!
Same thing, other item. As soon as you see the magical crystal somewhere on the map or have the chance to buy it, go for it, another rather easy achievement.

Steel Defender
Warrior saves King
Beat the game with the Knight. That's actually pretty easy, since you can just use your shield to block one attack, trap or any other kind of damage that would hurt your HP otherwise. Always activate the shield, even if there's no damage taken, it will not decay when you switch between levels of the same floor and only disappear once you've been hit.

Burst in!
Explode the door
While exploring the dungeon, you will find doors that are locked. Some of them have a blue lock while the others have a golden one. The golden ones can actually be burst open with a bomb. Drop one of your bombs infront of the doors with the golden lock and you'll be able to pass through and get this achievement.

Rank C
Get rank C
This one is trickier to get than the S rank, which means it's harder to be bad at the game than to finish it perfectly. Try to not explore the floor at all, slowly walk through, don't kill all the monsters, get hit often and barely manage to make it to the next floor. That should do the trick and allow you to get the C rank

Emerald
Collect 23 Artifacts
By normally playing the game and trying to finish it with all the available classes, this should be unlocked automatically. You'll come across different artifacts whenever you enter the store. Buy them, try them out and you'll quickly gather the needed 23 artifacts to unlock this achievement. If it doesn't unlock automatically, go check your depository. I'm not sure if that's what triggers the achievement, since I didn't have the chance to try it out yet, but that might be why you didn't get it.

My name is Begemot
Make four deals with the cat in one run
To unlock this achievement, explore all of the levels and floors. Usually in a top right corner, there will be a cat-like creature that sells artifacts. To get them, however, you need to pay with HP, which means you'll lose 10 of your total hit points every time you take a deal. If you cannot find the cat often enough to complete the achievement, there is an artifact called The Pact
which will make Begemot show up in every floor you get to. Also, there's another artifact called Black friday, which will lower the costs of deals with Begemot by half. Meaning you'll only have to pay 5 instead of 10 of your total HP to get an artifact.

Magic Defender
Mage saves King
Beat the game with the mage. This took me forever. The mage is the least balanced character in the game and doesn't make sense overall, in my opinion. Try to buy magical orbs which do some damage but never take any orb that costs more than 3 MP per use. This class is horribly designed and the items for the mage don't make any sense, which is why only 2 % of all players could currently unlock this achievement. Play it passive, safe your MP for boss battles and keep trying.

Precision Defender
Archer saves King
Beat the game with the archer. The only hard thing about this achievement is to not lose your patience and play it safe. Shoot monsters from a distance, stay away from risky situations (even if it takes longer to beat the boss/room) and try to get artifacts which increase your damage or give you damage over time.
Explaining all achievements Part 2
Secretive Defender
Rogue saves King
Beat the game with the rogue. The rogue will start off very weak and squishy. Try to play the early levels safe, search them thoroughly and pick up any damage you can find. If you keep your special ability for the bosses, you will nuke them down very easily. It's mostly about not dying to smaller monsters/traps when it comes to the rogue.

Collector
Collect 15 artifacts in one run
To get this achievement, you should use the Knight or Paladin class. Since they have lots of HP nothing will hinder you from taking multiple deals with the cat. Save your money and don't spend it for anything else than artifacts in the shop, blast open doors and crumbly walls, since behind both of them there are sometimes artifacts and explore every bit of the floor you're on. Be reckless! You only need to survive until you've gathered all of the artifacts. Even if you die on floor 3, you'll still have the achievement.

Holy Defender
Paladin saves King
Think of the Paladin as the Knights clumsy brother. He's not as fast, doesn't do as much damage but he has a lot of HP and potential. Use your HP to take deals with Begemot, grab every +damage you can get and activate your special ability in boss fights, since it deals quite some damage if you get hit. At this point you should have figured out how the bosses and monsters work. Use that to beat the game with the Paladin.

Line one's pockets
Collect 3000G in one run
To get this achievement, you should play the class you're most comfortable with. The trick here is to not spend ANY money at all. Try to explore all of the floor you're on, grab the artifact called The economicon, since it will double all the money you'll find. If you encounter monsters, beat them without getting hit, for a chance of a chest drop, which could contain gold. If you get to floor 3 without spending any money, you should have the 3000 coins.

Friends!
Make a party!
For this achievement you will need to gather the 3 active followers you can have in this game, Totemus, Crying Baby and Bob. There is sadly not really a quicker way to get them at all. It's a very grindy achievement and the last one I unlocked before reaching 100 %. Check every door, secret wall and look at every deal Begemot has to offer you. It is easier to finish this achievement by picking up The pact since it allows you to see Begemot in every single level, giving you a total of 32 deals with him if you find it at the first floor. Save your money, you'll be happy to have 900 gold if one of the three friends shows up at any stage. That's all the help I can offer you.

Diamond
Collect 46 artifacts
Another achievement which depends completely on how lucky you are, since there are no conditions required to unlock any of the artifacs. I'd say it's best to ignore this achievement until you beat the game with the Paladin or whoever will be the last character you beat it with. After that, go and check your Depository. If it's not there, look at the other guide there is on this game, since it will tell you about every single artifact there is and grind for it. Good luck.

Ok.

Dark Defender
Necromancer saves the King
This class is a little tricky but actually not too hard if you know how the game works. I recommend going for this achievement once you know how the game works, how the enemies, bosses and traps work. You start off with very little health but as soon as you find hearts your health will raise infinitely. Play it very safe until you find heart drops. Artifacts like Vampirism will help you a lot. This character is easy overall once you've collected some health. Also, you have insane crit chances.

Rage!
Berserk saves King
Berserk is a horrible class, to be quite honest. You NEED to find either the boot artifact to improve your speed or buy every potion you see and hope you'll eventually get the speed update, otherwise you will fail at the 2nd boss, the floating guy with the two fists, because you're too slow to escape his falling fists. It's a given that you'll fail if you don't find a speed upgrade until you hit the 2nd boss. Other than that I recommend you to never use your special power (Rage) if your health is at 10. 10 is enough for a trap to kill you and enough for a standard monster to kill you with 2 hits. Your game knowledge should be good enough to manage that by now. Hope for hearts so you can keep using rage, buy potions so you get the "regeneration" and find those boots. That's all there is to the horrible Berserk. :D
Afterword
Thanks for reading my Guide on how to 100 % Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again

With this game being the 10th I managed to fully complete, I thought it might be a good time to write my first guide. Which will explain the horrible formating. I hope you can overlook that and I hope that this Guide will boost the % of players that managed to finish the game fully. Thanks for reading it ♥

I'll add the last achievements soon. Currently trying to unlock them myself, which is harder than I thought. I'll update the guide very soon though. @Spitfire, the game's done now I believe. No more new stuff
Alex 16 Apr, 2016 @ 10:45am
Will they add more stuff or no?
Yeetacus Prime 16 Apr, 2016 @ 10:08am
Hey, great guide! As the game is no longer in early access, they added a couple of classes and achievements, so if you have any tips for saving the king with either the Necromancer or the Berserker, may want to add them. :D cheers!
