How to unlock all ai achievements in 30 turns or less. (Beware its pretty much cheating).
By TheDeadDude
A very cheesy way to win those annoying achievements really fast. You can of course, later do them legit or not bother.

Unlock Ai achievements
turn on custom factions, and make (choose weak hp race here) i prefer cultists because they cannot expand. Take away all positive skills in custom build. Add every negative debuffing skills you can find.

Choose a race that can make a really strong/fast rush early game. Necrophage, ardent mages and wild walkers come to mind.

Set game modes to fast and ai difficulty to endless, also make empires 2 and map small. Make the empires spawn right next together in the options. Choose the custom race you made absolutely horrible for the endless ai.

When you start the game focus on industry/science tech. Build up your era 1 buildings then just start mass producing units. Rush the ai while they're scouting about then siege their capital. Keep sending your units to their capital until they all are dead. Make sure it is past turn 25 though or you won't get the "quick out of blocks" achievement.

You just unlocked easy-endless difficulty achievements as well as the achievement to have a higher score than hard + endless AI for 25 turns. enjoy. (If done correctly that is).

I know this is really asking for a flame in a topic like this but I'm always confused why people want achievements they did nothing for (versus using them to track their skill progression in the game over time).

Sure it doesn't hurt anyone, it's just tiny digital cred that means nothing even if you really did earn them. But that also begs why anyone cares enough to cheese it either, as they are worthless x2 then =P

You can also set a Multiplayer (Not Open Multiplayer) mode, and after you start, you can simply save and load the game... and when you load, you can choose the other faction.
You can simply keep switching until you win, you can force one of the factions delibirately lose, and then switch to the winning side.

You can kill the opponent within 25 turns, just keep playing and you will still get the " fast out of the blocks" achievement after 25 turns.. even if ur the only player alive

You can use custom races or default to get these achievements. However it is way easier to get all said achievements if you nerf the AI into a gimped custom and buffed your own playing faction.

So does this mean we can use custom races to get the achievement or does this have to be the default factions?

Can't find anything in the options to get them to spawn close to you.
