Optimization: Meats (1.2)

Description
This mod reduces the meat variety in the game. Aside from insect meat and humanlike meats, every other meat is treated the same as far as gameplay mechanics go. So why have them? This mod simply runs a catch-all patch operation across all animals (except insectoids and humanlikes) to only drop raw meat.

Who would want this?

- People who don't care about all the animal meat variety since it all ends up being treated the same.
- People who would prefer simplifying their meat storage situation, since there would be less stacks.
- People with large animal mods interested in slightly improved load times and tick rates due to fewer defs and fewer stacks.


Compatibility:

- It should work on most animal mods as well, although there is a small possibility they may avoid the patching process depending on how the author handles their abstract layers. Should this happen, their meat will just work the same as it normally would.
- I've never seen one before, but if there's such thing as a mod which adds prepared meals that can only be cooked from a very specific type of meat, then there would be a conflict.
- Strange meats from Call of Cthulhu mods are unaffected by this mod.
- Fish meat from fishing mods should be unaffected.
- Is not compatible with Animal Logic's "Convert any generic meat into chicken meat upon butchering" mod setting feature (which is disabled by default).
- Some creatures could drop generic meat when they're supposed to drop, say, insect meat. If this happens, please let me know so the mod can be patched.
- Non insect/human meat on RimOverhaul quest maps is converted into generic meat.
- XML only

Load order:
- It shouldn't matter, but load this near the bottom of your mod list.

Save game compatible?
I don't recommend adding this to a save. There are a few things to note when using this in an existing game:

- Any meat, and meals made from meat, will disappear or bug out, since those meats were removed from the game.
- Squirrel meat is a unique definition in the game and requires some extra attention. Make sure you remove any squirrel meat from your game before using this mod. You can also enable dev tools in the options to force-delete any from the map.
- You may get some errors about your storage and bill filters referencing removed meats. These should clear up next save and reload.

It was only slightly modified for 1.2 compatibility. The vanilla issues still present in Owl's 1.2 update have been fixed, and some patches for other mods were added.

i tried without ideology DLC and it gave me errors aswell as in-game still giving me different meats

Has anyone tried using this mod in 1.3? Curious if there's any compatibility issues with the new venerated meats feature with Ideology?

I never had any red errors during my playthroughs for the last year or so. That being said there is a new mod that does this via C# code.

I read somewhere that this mod totally overwrites things and does not patch using Harmony, hence the red errors. Is that correct?

I had a problem with hauling to a cell creating 10 pawn jobs in less than a tick something about " cow meat ", im not an expert on mods or anything but made the pawn stand still for extended periods of time. I fixed it by sadly removing the mod. :(

man id love to use this mod but I wish it condensed meat from different mods into there own types. Like an alpha animal meat, dinosaur meat, dragon meat. that kinda thing

Some of the Black Hive and vat-grown insectoids drop raw meat, I think they need to be patched.
