Deacon's Frostier Frost

Description
**This mod will conflict with other horse mods, but only for frost. Basically by default frost is a named palomino, but this mod gives him his own base, so horse mods will work, but their effects will not work with frost. For those who unsubbed from Better Horses and find you cannot ride Frost, note that there is an uninstaller for that mod, it is not a problem with Frostier Frost, sub to the Better Horses uninstaller, it is not a problem I can fix.**

Like this and want Shadowmere to look shadowy? Consider it done... no really go here:

Very simple mod that makes Frost live up to his name.

It always bothered me that a unique horse named Frost was palomino coloured and looked like all the rest.

NO LONGER with Deacon's Frostier Frost. This creates a unique hide and saddle for frost, so now he actually resembles his name, has some class, and is labeled essential so he won't die!

Please let me know of any questions, comments or bugs and I will respond ASAFP!

By the way ... if you like this retexture, you might like some of my Dark Brotherhood stuff too. Check it out! :D

Revision 2: Changes the colour on the identity papers to read Ice White instead of Mealy Chestnut. Thanks for the catch shailaigh.
Revision 3: Compatible with Better Horses.
Revision 4: Removes compatibilty with Better Horses.

Known Issues:
- Riding through skyrim ignoring quests because galloping around on a proper white horse rocks your socks.

Frost - by all means - was supposed to be a light gray stallion. This mod, while it performs exceptionally well, makes Frost a very blanched and bright white. In the shade, he looks much better, but his black muzzle is much too dark.
A softer gray without the harsh line between his nostrils would have been better; since light gray horses have black skin, around his eyes, lower legs, and underbelly should have had gray to show the finer hair.
As an albino, Frost would have pink skin instead, with blue eyes. These are merely suggestions, not demands.
I do like that you've created this mod, since a white Frost is in high demand, but I think he's too white, especially in sunlight.

Didn't work for me. Might be because of Improved Horses mod but I actually lost the chance to get him anyway so it doesn't truly matter. I prefer Shadowmere anyways. Just bringing this up in case someone else uses the Improved Horses mod :P

I've been using this mod since ... well, pretty much when I started Skyrim =D I favor this over Shadowmere, who's destined just stand in that pond where he spawned

But I can't help but be a bit annoyed by one thing, that saddle. Whenever you're running and jumping that strap in front of horse is clipping trought leg muscles. There are mods that allow you to change saddle of horses, but they are equipped with way too much random crap, making you look like riding merchant or caravan, not mercenary riding to battle

For the folks asking where Frost is; speak to Louis Letrush in the Bee and Barb in Riften to start the quest.

Finally! A Frost worth stealing. :D The quest makes much more sense now. This is the way he should have been all along.
