FIRST thing first , you can find below in discussions a fix for thirdperson ( close & far ) with zoom :

Definitive version :


So, here is my first HUD customisation (meant to be used in thirdperson) , it adds :

- My previous overlay addon

- Custom position for player and teammates (health , kit, pils ...etc)

- Custom icons for items

- Isaac + pulse icon

- Custom crosshair compatible with dynamic default crosshair ( you can change the crosshair color/alpha/thickness)

crosshair 0 to disable , 1 to enable

- Known bug = m60 ammo ( no fix ) & bile icon after last stand update

yes, open the vpk ( google guide ) , open the material folder and check open/extract on png or tga format ( google vtf edit ) the one with the crosshair and other visual overlay stuff , paint in black ( white = visible ) the part you do'nt want to see in the alpha channel , save and export again to vtf format , replace original in material fodler and pack again in vpk format ( google guides ) .

Is it possible to have this hud without the crosshair in the middle? It's kinda the perfect use for my bodycam mod to have an interface, though it messes up with the crosshair since I'm using guns with ADS while walking or shooting.

I also managed to fix the issue with the bile icon showing--just set the IconSize variable or whatever it's called, under hudlayout.res -> HudWeaponSelection, to a value <= 0.

Hello Ramm! I just wanted to let you know that your HUD mods inspired me because of how useful they look. They're made for third-person, but they also work well in first-person, IMO.

I hope you don't mind, but I've used your local player panel background as a big part of my improved HUD mod based on Apex Legends. It's here on the Steam Workshop , and I've made sure to give you proper credit for it.

I managed to fix the M60 ammo positioning--it's tied to the rest of the widgets in the HudWeaponSelection in hudlayout.res file, so it was only a matter of adjusting everything else to work around the M60 ammo positioning, since you can't adjust the M60 ammo positioning itself individually.

Paint all the area you don't want to see in the alpha channel in black in the vtf of the overlay , it should work.

I have a question. Why does the crosshair of MOD moved after I change the position of the UI? I tried to change crosshair.vtf to blank, but the crosshair of MOD still did not disappear in game. How can I modify it? Of course, this is for my own use. It has not been reproduced or shared with anyone. Please rest assured

i think you can, need to tweak teammates panel iir , i didn't modify hud settings since a long time, maybe ask red schism
